I know one thing without a doubt….
Jesus Christ would expect us to be compassionate about what we don’t understand, are confused about, or find difficult to accept. And even if we consider homosexuality to be sinful and the behavior to be sin, Jesus never treated sinners shamefully or disrespectfully. I do wish we could get this across to all within the Christian community.
